Kara P Riley

Bio

Kara Riley joined the Alfred I. duPont Testamentary Trust in 2005. She currently serves as the Trust's Chief Operating Officer. Her primary responsibilities include oversight of operational risk management for the portfolio, cash flow management, accounting and audit, portfolio reporting, compliance, information technology, and facilities management. Prior to joining the Trust, Kara worked as a Fund Services Analyst in the Investment Operations Department of the Howard Hughes Medical Institute in Chevy Chase, Md. Her key responsibilities at HHMI included managing daily cash movements, transfers, trading activity and vendor relationships for the $14 billion endowment. Before this, Kara worked for the Calvert Group, a socially responsible mutual fund company, in Bethesda, Md. Her primary responsibilities included assisting broker/dealers with fund information and providing alternatives and recommendations with respect to investment industry topics and products. Kara received a B.A. in Financial Management from The Catholic University of America in Washington, D.C.
