Bio

Ms. Moore is a Co-Founder and Partner of Nobska Group and is a Managing Director of the General Partner. Ms. Moore brings 24 years of strategy, entrepreneurship, banking and operational management experience, with diverse industry exposure, including information technology and services, health care, financial services, publishing and retailing. Ms. Moore is particularly adept at the creation of breakthrough strategies, driven by insight from disciplined market research and total systems cost analysis. These breakthrough strategies have consistently led to very significant positive changes in her client or portfolio company's strategic position, profit generation and long-term value. Moore joined American Security Bank in Washington, D.C. At American SecurityMs. Moore specialized in commercial lending in the airline industry and became the youngest officer in the bank's history. Following Harvard Business School, Ms. Moore joined the international strategy consulting firm, Bain & Company, where she managed client strategy projects with Fortune 500 companies in many industries including information services, finance, real estate, health care, distribution, and retailing. Some of Ms. Moore's clients included Dun & Bradstreet, A.C. Nielsen, Baxter, Maryland National Bank, and Canadian Pacific. Joining husband Charles Moore in 1989 to pursue business opportunities together, Ms. Moore led and managed client strategy projects in consumer products, retailing, publishing, and shopping center development. In 1993, the Moores acquired a wholesale distribution company (Metro Feeds, LTD) and related chain of retail stores (Animal Authority). As COO of these companies and two additional acquisitions, Ms. Moore managed the financial turn-around of these companies, leading to industry recognition for outstanding management practices. After the sale of these companies in 1998, the Moores joined Mr. Ward in forming Nobska Group. Ms. Moore has led several of Nobska Group's business model and corporate strategy assignments, and has served as a Director for two Nobska Group portfolio companies. Ms. Moore manages the firm's finances and administration. Ms. Moore also serves as a Director and officer of various civic and charitable organizations in Baltimore. Following Dartmouth College, where she graduated in 1980 with high honors in economics, Ms. Moore joined American Security Bank in Washington, D.C.
