Bio
Mr McDonald has extensive experience in the telecom industry. He was previously employed with Ericsson for 11 years where he held various positions within product development and marketing. During this time he introduced two significant products on the market: an application platform and a pre-paid platform. He has also been involved in setting up a structure to startup an internal venture capital fund in Ericsson. His last position within Ericsson was Vice President for Ericsson Radio Systems AB where he was responsible for a product unit with 1,200 employees. At the same time he was a member of the management team for the business unit GSM Systems that contributed 60% of Ericsson's proceeds in 1999. He has also worked three years in the UK, two years in Canada and three years in Hong Kong. Mr McDonald holds a MSc in Information Systems and an MBA.
