Laurent Parmentier

Bio

Laurent joined SignalFire in 2017 to lead Research, Strategy and Portfolio Operations. He focuses on developing investment theses across various technology sectors and ensuring that SignalFire’s resources are deployed effectively across the portfolio. Prior to SignalFire, Laurent was a Principal at The Boston Consulting Group where he spent 6 years advising CEOs and executive teams of leading companies across a wide range of industries. While at BCG, Laurent traveled even more than most consultants, working on 5 different continents. He started his career in Brussels, did long-term assignments in Asia, Africa, and Australia, and then spent the last few years in New York, where he was a core member of the Retail, Strategy and Operations practices. He was rapidly promoted throughout his career and became one of BCG’s youngest Principals. Laurent holds a BEng from University College London (jointly with the London School of Economics) and an MS from Stanford University, where he was a Fulbright Scholar.
