Bio

Mr Locklin joined EIF Group in 1997. He is the Partner responsible for EIF’s Clean Energy investment interests and new product development. Prior to joining EIF Group, Mr Locklin was a member of the core management team of E&Co, an emerging markets energy project development service funded by the Rockefeller Foundation. At E&Co, Mr Locklin focused on the design, development, and evaluation of innovative investment vehicles intended to meet the global demand for renewable energy commercialization. Mr Locklin has also served as Senior Advisor to ATI, which assists developing country producers through technology transfer and enterprise development. Prior to that, Mr Locklin served as the principal developer and manager of the Africa Growth Fund, one of the first publicly supported, privately funded and managed international venture funds. His 20 years of investment banking and venture capital experience involve work in more than 30 countries across Africa, Asia, Europe, and Latin America. Mr Locklin received a BA from Yale University.
