Bio

Joined Silver Lake in 2009 as a Director and leads Value Creation in Europe. For 15 years, has served in senior executive positions and as an advisor leading businesses through complex operational change. Joined Silver Lake from Alvarez & Marsal where he was a Managing Director, led the development of A&M's private equity performance improvement services in Europe and was responsible for Technology, Telecoms and Business Services engagements across Europe. At A&M, was involved in a range of advisory and interim management engagements, including serving in the wind-down of Lehman Brothers Holdings where he led operations and complex transition and carve-out transactions for the operating companies and private equity platforms in Europe. Prior to consulting, operating experience includes serving as President, Chief Operating Officer and Chief Technology officer with a number of private equity owned growth technology businesses. Through his career, has lived in both Europe and North America, working with leading technology driven businesses including Siemens AG, BEA Systems Inc and Stratacom Inc and has also led software and electronics businesses through significant re-organisation and restructuring, including at iSOFT plc where he served as Group Operations Director during its restructuring. Accredited IT Infrastructure Library (ITIL) manager and served as an international quality assurance reviewer for the UK Office of Government Commerce’s ITIL v3 publication. Member of the Institute of Directors (MIoD), the Institute of Service Management (MIoSM) and the British Computer Society (MBCS). Studied medicine at the University of London.
