Masato Kikuchi

Bio

Mr Kikuchi is a Venture Partner with the IGNITE Group. Joining the firm in 1998, he focuses on early stage investments in e-commerce, communications and wireless areas. Prior to joining IGNITE, Mr Kikuchi was a Vice President to the President of Union Bank of California where he spear-headed major initiatives including M&As, spin-offs and off-shore fund creation and management, as well as the revival of the bank VC fund. Previously, he worked as an options trader for Mitsubishi Bank, where he created their first global risk management system utilizing custom software from Silicon Valley. Mr Kikuchi has a BS degree from Waseda University and a MBA from the Stanford Graduate School of Business.
