Melissa Klafter

Bio

Melissa Klafter, Senior Vice President, Fund Controller, has over 15 years experience in financial services accounting, focusing on private equity and hedge funds. Prior to joining Sun Capital Partners, Ms. Klafter served as Vice President with both Credit Suisse and Goldman Sachs from 1998 to 2006. While with Credit Suisse, she served as a manager in the Alternative Investments Group; and as a manager in the controllers' private equity and hedge fund strategies groups with Goldman Sachs. Prior to working at both firms, Ms. Klafter served as an accountant in the auditing practice of PricewaterhouseCoopers and Richard A. Eisner & Company. Ms. Klafter received a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Syracuse University and is a Certified Public Accountant.
