Michael Derby

Bio

Mr. Derby joined EGS Healthcare Capital Partners from Merck & Co. At Merck, he held positions in sales, marketing, and business development, where he helped evaluate licensing and acquisition opportunities for new products and technologies. Prior to joining Merck he worked as an Equity Research Associate covering the pharmaceutical industry at ING Baring Furman Selz. He also previously conducted research in molecular neurobiology at Harvard Medical School and Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine, and has published papers in the peer-reviewed scientific press Mr. Derby received a BS, with honors, from Johns Hopkins University, an MS in Neuroscience from the University of Rochester, and an MBA, with distinction, from New York University.
