Michael H K Chung

Bio

Michael H.K. Chung is Senior Vice President and Chief International Ventures Officer. Mr. Chung joined Eastman Chemical Company in 1976 and was a Technical Marketing Representative until 1987, with experience in Chemicals and Fibers, serving at various locations throughout Asia. In 1987, Mr. Chung was transferred to Kingsport on a permanent basis and named product specialist for Fibers. Mr. Chung earned a Higher Diploma in Textile Chemistry from the Hong Kong Polytechnic University, and a master's degree in Polymer Science from the University of Bradford in the UK. From 1987 to 2002 he served in various positions in the Fibers business including Business Development Director. In 2002, he was named Managing Director Asia Pacific Region of Voridian Division and relocated to Hong Kong, where he served until appointed to the position of Vice President, Fibers International Business in 2006 when the Voridian Division was combined with the Eastman Division. Prior to his current position, Mr. Chung served as Vice President and Managing Director, Asia Pacific Region.
