Bio
Since the formation of Shore Points Capital in 2006, Mike has originated equity investments in the software and branded manufacturing industries. Prior to joining BNP Paribas in 2005, Mike served as a founding member of Sorenson Capital, a middle-market private equity firm led by NFL Hall of Fame quarterback Steve Young and several former Bain Capital professionals. While with Sorenson Capital, Mike evaluated and executed a number of transactions in the services, manufacturing, and technology industries. Before joining Sorenson Capital, Mike served as the Director of Corporate Development and Strategic Finance at Found, Inc., an enterprise software company providing inventory management solutions to major retailers. In this capacity, Mike formed strategic partnerships and successfully raised corporate and institutional private equity investments from a number of firms including Bain Capital, Accel KKR, and Simon Property Group. Found, Inc. subsequently combined with CRS Retail Systems, which was later acquired by Epicor Software. Prior to joining Found, Inc., Mike was a member of the Global Technology Investment Banking Group at UBS, where he worked on numerous public and private equity transactions, including the first institutional financing for Found, Inc. On behalf of Shore Points, Mike serves as a board member of TSD Rental and Breckwell. Mike received a B.A. degree from Columbia University and an M.B.A. from NYU.
