Experienced industrialist who has worked in several private equity backed businesses over the last 13 years. Backed as CEO of New World Domestic Appliances, which was a highly successful buy-in and appointed Chairman of Plaxton Coaches, a buy-out that the Partners led in 2004. Former Chairman of Pennine Retail Systems, a successful £20 million Nat West Ventures backed buy-in, and led the 3i backed acquisition of E2V Technologies from GEC which was successfully floated in 2004. Member of the Executive Advisory Board, the advisory board of Aberdeen Murray Johnstone Private Equity’s latest limited partnership fund and was also a member of 3i’s Chairmans Board and Partnership Programme.
