Bio

Joined the Healthcare Corporate Finance Group at Nomura in 1998 and has focused on the Team's investment activities since 1999. Prior to joining the Team, gained several years experience advising management teams and companies on buyouts, cross border M&A, private and public company offerings in biotechnology and other sectors whilst at Nomura and EFG Group. Has nine years experience as an investment professional with Phase4 Ventures and has been involved in numerous investments including Pharmion, Altus and Phenomix. Member of the Investment Committee. Currently an observer on the Boards of OmniSonics Medical Technologies and Atani. Degree in Medicine from Guy's Hospital, London and worked in the UK's National Health Service as a doctor. Qualified as a Chartered Accountant with KPMG and holds a Diploma in Company Direction from the Institute of Directors.
