Paul J. Ferraro is a Principal of The Carlyle Group focused on investor relations throughout Carlyle’s third-party distribution network. He is based in New York. Prior to joining Carlyle, Mr. Ferraro was an Executive Director and Head of Platform Distribution for Morgan Stanley’s Merchant Banking Division. Also at Morgan Stanley, Mr. Ferraro was a Regional Director in the Alternative Investments Group, responsible for alternative asset fundraising throughout the firm’s mid-Atlantic footprint. Before joining Morgan Stanley he was the Director of Sales for Torrey Associates, a $1.5B Hedge Fund-of-Funds. Mr. Ferraro began his career at Wachovia National Bank (formerly First Union National Bank) where he held key positions in the Equity Trading Group before becoming a Partner in Wachovia’s Alternative Strategies Group. Mr. Ferraro is a graduate of Gannon University and has an M.B.A. from the University of North Carolina, Charlotte. Mr. Ferraro holds the Chartered Alternative Investments Analyst (CAIA) designation.
