Pravin Gandhi

Bio

Has over 35 years of operational and entrepreneurial experience in the IT industry in India and is an active private equity investor in the technology sector. In 1972 he co-founded the Hinditron group of companies (India's first IT Company) which subsequently merged with Digital Equipment Corporation in 1988. He serves on the board of several public and private corporations in India. He is a former President of the Manufacturers Association of Information Technology (an IT manufacturers association in India) and was formerly a member of the NASSCOM Executive Council. He was the President and is currently the Trustee of The Indus Entrepreneurs (TiE), Mumbai. BS in Industrial Engineering from Cornell University.
