Mr Randy Valerio joined GB Merchant Partners, the principal investment arm of Gordon Brothers Group, in 2010 to concentrate on the sourcing, execution and management of private equity investments in consumer and retail companies. Prior to joining Gordon Brothers Group, Mr. Valerio was an associate with Investcorp International, Inc. where he managed all aspects of business, industry and financial due diligence for several multi-million dollar transactions including leveraged buyouts, mergers & acquisitions and portfolio company recapitalizations. In addition, Mr. Valerio was involved in the monitoring of three portfolio companies in which he also served as a board contributor. Earlier in his career, he was an investment banking analyst in Citigroup’s Financial Sponsors Group. Mr Valerio received his BA in Business Economics from Brown University and was a Citigroup Academy of Finance Scholar.
