Bio

Ms. Owen heads the Legal Department and the Real Estate Acquisitions, Development and Repositioning Department, positions she has held since 1995. Before joining the company, Ms. Owen practiced real estate law in Washington, D.C. at Pillsbury Winthrop Shaw Pittman LLP (formerly known as Shaw Pittman LLP) and general business law in Burlington, Vermont. Ms. Owen is a member of the Boys and Girls Clubs of Greater Washington, DC. Ms. Owen is an alumna of The University of Chicago Law School and is a summa cum laude, Phi Beta Kappa graduate of Hamilton College, with a B.A. in economics.
