Rich became a Blue Chip venture partner in 2004 and works closely with the Blue Chip Validation Fund, where he serves on the investment committee. Rich is a retired Procter & Gamble executive. While at P&G, Rich founded and directed the P&G venture capital group, which invested in technology companies and in venture capital funds. Prior to that role, he held a variety of executive positions in marketing, information technology, and finance, including managing P&G?s 500-person, world-wide, IT applications development group and serving as global human resource director for the 3,000-person, world-wide, IT organization. Rich also served as the president of CincyTech USA, the region?s technology growth initiative, and helped lead the formation of the Tri-State Growth Fund, a $40 million early-stage venture capital fund-of-funds Board of Advisors - Cincinnati Children's Hospital -Board of Advisors - The Genome Research Institute -Board of Directors - Madison E-Zone -Board of Directors - Greater Cincinnati Venture Association Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute with a BS in Engineering.
