Bio
Rick is an Operating Executive at Chicago Growth Partners where he focuses on deal origination in the Business & Consumer Services sectors. Prior to joining CGP, Rick spent over two decades in private equity. Since 1993, Rick has been investing in high growth, privately held companies, working with Crosscut Ventures, Palomar Ventures and SunAmerica. Earlier in his career, Rick worked for the Los Angeles office of Milbank, Tweed, Hadley and McCloy, a Wall Street law firm. Select current and past investments include: Berkeley Networks, ConvergeNet, Entone, Evolve Software, Fulcrum Microsystems, Magma Design Automation, Maverick Networks, Micromuse, PropertyFirst, Selmer, Shoedazzle, Steinway Piano Company and TriVida. Rick graduated with a B.S. in Finance from the University of Illinois with Highest Honors, and holds a J.D. from Harvard Law School.
