Rob Donnelly

Bio

Over the last ten years, Rob Donnelly has served as investor, senior executive, and entrepreneur across a broad range of industries, stages, and types of businesses. In his role as both Venture Advisor for DFJ Mercury and as General Partner of Guardian Ventures (family partnership), Rob addresses life science (medical device), software and select technology sectors, often taking active roles in management to help launch and build the business. Previously, Rob was a founding principal at Genesis Park, a Houston-based venture capital and private equity firm. Rob maintained a number of roles, including serving on the firm’s Investment Committee and leading several investments in the information technology and life sciences sectors. His background also includes engineering and product development in the medical device industry, an equity analyst position in the medical technology sector, and investment banking through an East Coast private equity firm. Rob obtained a BS in biomedical science from Texas A&M University and an MBA in finance from Southern Methodist University in Dallas, Texas.
