Bio

After spending sixteen years in operational management positions with USX Corporation, Mr. Meyer became Executive Vice President of Operations for American Steel & Wire Corporation, a start-up manufacturer of automotive-related steel products. He then became Vice President and General Manager of Handy & Harmon's precious metals business, before taking over as President and COO of Chase Brass & Copper Corporation, where he led the installation of a new melt shop and the formation of a regional electrical power co-op facility. From 1996 to 2000, Mr. Meyer served as Executive Vice President of Republic Technologies International, a consolidation of three major U.S. automotive-quality steel bar producers. In 2000 he became Managing Partner of Buckland Investments, an organization that specializes in strategic, organizational and operational consulting as well as diverse acquisitions, and, as a result of that affiliation, assumed the role of interim CEO and President of Monarch Steel Corporation, a leading distributor of flat-rolled steel products located in Cleveland. Mr. Meyer is a member of various industry organizations and has served as Drive Chairman for the United Way, is a board member for Catholic Girls Home and works with Reach To Recovery-American Cancer Society. Mr. Meyer received a B.S. in Industrial Engineering from The Ohio State University.
