Bio

Robert joined CGP in 2007 and his focus is primarily on deal origination, execution, and new corporate strategy initiatives for CGPs portfolio companies. Robert spent the previous four years working for ITT Corporation, a global, $8 billion revenue, multi-industry company based in White Plains, New York. At ITT, Robert served most recently as Vice President, Director of Corporate Strategy, where he was responsible for identifying acquisition opportunities, developing growth strategies, corporate portfolio planning, as well as leading corporate strategy initiatives. Prior to ITT, Robert worked as a Director in Merrill Lynch's Multi-Industry Investment Banking Group in New York and Los Angeles, and led the firms business services investment banking efforts. At Merrill Lynch, Robert had extensive deal origination and execution experience in a broad range of industries including industrial growth and business services, two of the three pillars of CGPs core investment competency. Robert also worked at McDonnell Douglas where he held a variety of finance and operations positions. Robert’s current directorships and portfolio companies include Benetech, Inc. and Royall & Co. Robert graduated with honors from the University of California, Irvine and has an MBA from Harvard University.
