Managing Partner of Catalyst and a member of the Investment Committee. Founder of Balmuir Partners for 3 years and a senior partner of Botts & Company for 13 years focusing on mid market private equity investments in the UK. In 1985 joined Bankers Trust’s private equity and leveraged finance group working in both Los Angeles and London. Chairman of Osprey Publishing and a non-executive director of Heartstone Inns and Aqua Service, and Treasurer and a Trustee of Malvern College. Previously a non-executive director of a number of private and public companies including Malmaison, Cineworld, Continuum Publishing and Primesight. Graduate of Exeter University. Qualified as a Chartered Accountant with Peat Marwick Mitchell in London.
