Bio

Roger Underwood joined the Advisory Council of Century Park Capital Partners in 2004. Roger has extensive operating experience in the agriculture and chemicals industries with a proven ability to drive businesses from concept to sophisticated corporations. Roger co-founded and was the Chief Executive Officer of Becker Underwood, a manufacturer of specialty bio-agronomic and colorant products for turf management, agriculture, seed treatment, wood recycling, aquaculture, vegetation management, forestry, structural pest control and many other industries, in 1982. At Becker Underwood, he was responsible for all aspects of the company’s operations, including sales and marketing, research and product development, production, accounting and human resources. Under Roger’s leadership, Becker Underwood expanded from a single facility business to a multi-national corporation with operations in the United States, Canada, United Kingdom, France, Brazil, Argentina and Australia. The company was acquired by Century Park in 2000 and was successfully sold to a private equity firm in 2004. Prior to partnering with Century Park, Roger was a product manager for Midland Cooperative, an agri-chemical distribution cooperative based in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Additionally, Roger served as a sales manager for Rosen Agchemicals, a provider of agricultural chemical products based in Kansas City, Missouri. Roger earned a B.S. degree in Agricultural Business from Iowa State University in 1980.
