Scott C Parkes

Bio

Scott C. Parkes joined the Firm in 2007 and is responsible for originating, analyzing, structuring, and closing new fund investments, as well as ongoing portfolio company management. Mr. Parkes has 13 years of relevant industry experience. Prior to joining EIF, Mr. Parkes held various finance roles within Exxon Mobil Corporation (ExxonMobil), including rotations in groups responsible for International Finance, Asset Acquisition, and Investor Relations. Prior to joining ExxonMobil, Mr. Parkes was a Senior Financial Analyst in the Global Power Investment Banking group of J.P. Morgan in New York. Mr. Parkes began his career as an analyst at McManus & Miles, a boutique investment bank serving the U.S. electric power industry. While in graduate school, Mr. Parkes was a John M. Olin Fellow, researching the U.S. natural gas pipeline system, and was a Summer Associate in Duke Energy’s Mergers & Acquisition group. Mr. Parkes received a B.A. in Economics from Columbia University and an M.B.A. from the Yale School of Management.
