Bio

Mr VandeBurgt has over 15 years of corporate finance and alternative investment experience. As a former institutional Limited Partner, he is active in Champlain’s origination and due diligence processes. He is also responsible for maintaining relationships with select US Limited Partners. As a Portfolio Manager of Alternative Assets at Qwest Communications International Inc’s $9 billion pension plan, he deployed, managed and monitored over $1.2 billion across venture capital, private equity, mezzanine, structured power, natural resources, infrastructure, secondary, special situations, hedge and funds of funds partnerships. Mr VandeBurgt received his MBA from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University and his BS from Loyola Marymount University. He also has earned the CFA designation.
