Simon C Krinsky

Bio

Simon Krinsky is a Managing Director at Hall Capital Partners LLC and Co-Director of Portfolio Management. He manages the firm's Portfolio Management practice in New York and serves on the firm's Executive Committee. Mr. Krinsky joined the firm in the San Francisco office in 2002, later transferring to the New York office. He was promoted to Managing Director in 2006, and most recently was named Co-Director of Portfolio Management in 2010. Prior to joining the firm, he spent six years with Goldman Sachs where he began his career on the Convertibles Sales and Trading desk in New York covering dedicated convertible arbitrage hedge funds. In 2000, Mr. Krinsky moved to San Francisco to work in the firm's Private Client Services group, working with wealthy Bay Area families. Mr. Krinsky serves on the Board of Directors of Summer Search New York City, and on the Investment Committee of the parent organization, Summer Search. Mr. Krinsky also serves on the Investment Committees for the New York Historical Society and Montefiore Medical Center, as well as the Montefiore Advisory Council. He is a member of the New York Society of Security Analysts and the CFA Institute, and is a holder of the Chartered Financial Analyst designation. Mr. Krinsky graduated from Amherst College with a B.A. in Economics.
