Bio
Joined Barclays Private Equity in 1997 and is a Director based in the London office as well co-heading the Consumer and Travel sector. Prior to joining Barclays Private Equity, was an investment banking adviser to medium sized companies with BZW Corporate Finance. Has led a number of high profile and successful transactions in the Consumer and Travel sector, including the management buyouts of Hobbs (which realised a 5.1 times return on investment), Phase Eight (2.4 times) and Kurt Geiger (2.5 times). Additionally, has worked on a number of Barclays Private Equity's largest deals in other sectors, including Global Refund, Jerrold Holdings and First Assist, as well as leading the public-to-private BIMBO of Nightfreight. Has been non-executive Director of a number of companies in the Barclays Private Equity portfolio, and has wide experience of buyouts and all aspects of corporate finance. Graduate of Cambridge University.
