Steven Tuttleman

Bio

Steven, a co-founder of SeaCap Ventures, is president of Instar Capital, a New York City investment company that specializes in acquisitions of privately held middle market operating companies. Since 1985, Steven has directed and managed numerous acquisitions and restructurings for Instar and other affiliated investment groups. Through Instar and related investment vehicles, Steven holds controlling interests in several entities including Ebonite International, a sporting goods company, Telepartner International, a wireless and networking company, Kahunaville, a chain of theme restaurants, Evenstar Productions, an independent film and theatrical production company, and Tuttson Capital Corp., an investment firm. Steven holds a board seat in each of the above companies. Steven is also on the advisory boards of Hirtle, Callaghan, an investment advisory firm with $5 billion in assets under management, LLR Equity, a $260 million private equity fund, Performance, Inc., and internet, mail order and retailer of bicycles and accessories, and the Tuttleman Family Foundation, a charitable foundation. Steven is a graduate of The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and the Law School of New York University.
