Ted Yun

Bio

Ted Yun is a Managing Partner of Moelis Capital Partners and focuses on the healthcare, consumer/retail and business services sectors. Mr. Yun has 20 years of investment experience and expertise in building and managing private equity firms. Mr. Yun has particular experience investing in middle market private equity opportunities in the healthcare services, business services and consumer/specialty retail sectors, and has served on the boards of directors of 15 former portfolio companies. Mr. Yun spent 11 years at J.W. Childs, where he was a Partner and Chairman of the Investment Committee. After his time at J.W. Childs, he was a founder and Managing Partner of West Hill Partners, a private equity firm focused on middle market growth company buyouts. Previously, Mr. Yun worked at DLJ Merchant Banking, The Blackstone Group and Drexel Burnham Lambert. He currently serves on the board of directors of Women's Integrated Network, Inc. Mr. Yun received a B.S. in Economics with a concentration in Finance from the Wharton School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania and a B.A.S. with a concentration in Computer Science from the School of Engineering and Applied Science at the University of Pennsylvania and received an M.B.A. from Stanford University.
