Thomas Karthaus

Bio

Prior to joining Watermill, Mr Karthaus worked as a Summer Associate at Fisher Scientific International in their Corporate Development division. While at Fisher, Mr Karthaus performed in-depth market analysis to assess the attractiveness of new markets and to identify the best way for Fisher to participate in those markets. Mr Karthaus began his career at The Blackstone Group where he held a variety of positions. Most recently, he was an Analyst for Blackstone’s Distressed Securities Hedge Fund where he was involved in all aspects of launching Blackstone’s first proprietary hedge fund, including roles as interim CFO and COO. Mr Karthaus received his BS at Fordham University, where he graduated Summa Cum Laude and was a member of Phi Kappa Phi and Beta Gamma Sigma honor societies. Mr Karthaus received his MBA from Harvard Business School. He is a CFA charterholder.
