Bio

Joined the Los Angeles office of LMP as an Associate in September 2007. Thomas' main responsibilities include researching investment ideas, evaluating investment opportunities, executing transactions and monitoring portfolio companies. Thomas previously was employed by CIBC World Markets in its Los Angeles office, where he was part of the firm's Leveraged Finance / Financial Sponsors Group and Consumer Growth Group. While at CIBC, Thomas worked on providing M&A advisory and debt and equity financings for companies in various business sectors, including consumer products as well as gaming, lodging and leisure. Thomas' responsibilities included deal execution, financial analysis, research and monitoring the firm's credit portfolio. In 2005, received a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance from the University of Pennsylvania's Wharton School of Business.
