Appointed to the board of Directors of ICG as a non-executive in June 1993 before joining full time as a Managing Director in April 1996. Before joining ICG, was a director of James Capel & Co. Worked for James Capel for eight years and was responsible for the growth of their IPO business and in particular was responsible for the growth in the European market for LBO flotations. Worked with ICG's founders in raising the initial equity for ICG in 1989. Chairman of both the Executive Committee and the Board of Intermediate Capital Managers Ltd, ICG's fund management company. Graduate of Manchester University.
