Vikul Goyal

Bio

Vikul Goyal, an associate with BVP India’s Mumbai office, joined the firm in 2011. He focuses on investments in energy and financial services. Prior to joining Bessemer, Vikul served as a field engineer at oilfield services company Baker Hughes, where he managed field operations that provided upstream hydrocarbon exploration solutions to oil and gas companies in India, the Middle East, and Africa. While at Baker Hughes, Vikul helped start operations for a hi-tech coal bed methane exploration project for Oil and Natural Gas Corporation Ltd. (ONGC) in India. Previously, Vikul was a business analyst at Evalueserve, a leading provider of knowledge services. Vikul holds an MBA from Harvard Business School and a bachelor of technology in mechanical engineering from Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Guwahati. He was named a National Talent Search Scholar in 2000.
