Warren J. MacGillivray joined the Firm in 2007 and is responsible for portfolio company management. He has 24 years of relevant industry experience. Prior to joining EIF, Mr. MacGillivray held various roles within GE Energy Financial Services (GE EFS), including Portfolio Manager, where he managed in excess of $2 billion of structured equity and debt investments; Lead Underwriter, where he managed deal teams including financial, tax, legal, and technical personnel in the identification, structuring, and closing of new investments; and Manager of Technical Advisory, where he led a team of senior engineers in new business due diligence, portfolio issue resolution, and development of underwriting guidelines for all core businesses with a specific focus on wind, geothermal, landfill gas, and water infrastructure. Prior to joining GE EFS, Mr. MacGillivray held various roles within GE Energy, including Operations & Maintenance - Manager of Business Development & Sales for North America, where he identified, structured, and closed Energy Services contracts valued in excess of $250 million, and co-wrote and presented “O&M Strategies to Enhance Plant Profitability” at GE Energy’s State of the Art Conference. Mr. MacGillivray also held the roles of Technical Support Leader, Operations Manager, and Start-up Supervisor during his tenure at GE Energy. Mr. MacGillivray received a B.S. in Marine Engineering from the Massachusetts Maritime Academy and an M.B.A. from Rensselaer Polytechnic University.
