Joined Englefield in mid-2003 shortly after Englefield raised its first fund. Was recruited by Mr Shorthouse and has worked closely with the Englefield partner group for seven years. Has multi-sector experience, having worked on investment opportunities or portfolio companies in all of Englefield's sectors of focus. Has in-depth experience in sourcing & research, transaction execution, investment management & monitoring, financial and management restructuring, and exits. Previously worked for the Investment Banking division of Merrill Lynch in London for over three years. While at Merrill Lynch, was in the European Financial Sponsors transaction sourcing and execution advisory team. In this capacity worked on numerous Initial Public Offerings, financial sponsor exits, and mergers and acquisitions. Graduated from the University of Bristol with a bachelor of science degree in economics.
