William Kessinger joined Parthenon Capital Partners in October 2001 to open Parthenon Capital's office in San Francisco, California. Mr. Kessinger currently works directly with Triad Isotopes, Wildlands, Inc. and Performant Financial Corporation, and previously with Arrow Financial Services, Rackable Systems and AccuMed Home Health, all former portfolio companies. Mr. Kessinger is the Chief Investment Officer on Parthenon Capital's Investment Committee and is a member of the Executive Committee. Years before joining Parthenon, Mr. Kessinger had a relationship working with The Parthenon Group. From 1994 - 1995 he worked with John Rutherford, a Founder of both The Parthenon Group and Parthenon Capital. More recently, Mr. Kessinger was an original Partner of GTCR Golder Rauner, LLC, a $4 billion private equity investment firm in Chicago, Illinois, which was formed in January 1998 as a successor entity to Golder, Thoma, Cressey, Rauner, Inc. Among other things, Mr. Kessinger led GTCR's efforts in the transaction processing sector. Mr. Kessinger joined Golder, Thoma, Cressey, Rauner, Inc. in May 1995 and became a Partner in September 1997. Prior to joining PCP, Mr. Kessinger acquired, sold, and was a director of various public and private companies, including AnswerThink Consulting Group, Inc., National Equipment Services, Inc., Global Imaging Systems Inc., Cambridge Protection Industries, Inc., Transfirst and Transaction Network Services, Inc. His successful investment history, particularly in business services, financial services and transaction processing, has brought valuable experience and industry knowledge to Parthenon Capital. Mr. Kessinger lived in Indonesia, India, Singapore, and Hong Kong as a youth and early in his career. From August 1988 to June 1992, Mr. Kessinger served as an Associate with Prudential Asset Management Asia, a $500 million private equity fund, Asia's largest at that time. Mr. Kessinger received B.S. and M.S. degrees in Industrial Engineering from Stanford and an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School with high distinction as a Baker Scholar.
