Bio

Prior to founding Merion Investment Partners, Mr Means created and managed Mellon Growth Finance (“MGF”), a senior and subordinated debt lending group at Mellon Bank, with offices in Philadelphia and Pittsburgh and closed over $300MM in transactions. Before forming MGF, Mr. Means focused primarily on leveraged finance in the health care industry. He also served as an officer of Fidelcor Capital, the venture capital subsidiary of Fidelity Bank. He served on the Board of nearly all of MGF’s investments and serves today on numerous Merion portfolio company Boards. He is and has been an active member of the Association for Corporate Growth and the Greater Philadelphia Venture Group for the last several years. Mr. Means earned an MBA/MS Healthcare Finance at Temple University and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics at Case Western Reserve University where he graduated cum laude.
