Anthony Danon

Bio

Anthony caught the entrepreneurial bug while working at a Fintech startup in the Enterprise SaaS cashflow management space. He joined Anthemis in June 2014, where he collected a range of experiences in his first year – from M&A in the payments space to innovation consulting for banks and portfolio support in the VC environment. During the following years at Anthemis, Anthony focused on sourcing, evaluating and executing seed and series A fintech investments, primarily in European companies such as TrueLayer and Tide. Anthony supported startups in areas ranging from milestone planning and strategy, to business development and follow-on capital support. He is also an active part of Seedcamp’s Investment Forum and a mentor to some of their portfolio companies. Founders can count on Anthony’s experienced support at any time. He is also involved with ReloadGreece, a charity focused on bridging Greek entrepreneurs with investors and know-how. In his personal life, Anthony used to play semi-professional football and is an active snowboarder and waterskier. His curious mind and passion for travelling has brought him around the world. Anthony is an entrepreneur in spirit and firmly believes that entrepreneurs are the key drivers of tomorrow’s success.
