Bio
Bernardo is a Venture Partner at e.ventures. Prior to e.ventures Bernardo held various senior marketing and product positions at Google. While at Google, he led the Zagat acquisition and ran the Zagat team until he left Google in May 2013. After Google he joined Yahoo as the Head of Flickr, which he ran until May 2015. At the age of 29, after five years as an analyst and portfolio manager in the asset management industry with companies like Fidelity Investments, BBVA and Putnam Investments, Bernardo started his first internet venture idealista.com, now the leading classified real estate site in Spain. Since then he has participated in other online start-ups as an Angel Investor. His investments include Tuenti, index.com, wallapop, floresfrescas.com and 11870.com. In May 2011, he was appointed to the Jury of the Prince of Asturias Awards for Science and Technology. Bernardo graduated from ICADE, Pontifical University of Comillas, the leading business university in Madrid (Spain) in 1993. He has a Masters in Finance from Boston College and holds the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation.
