Charles Ho

Bio

Charles has spent the last two decades working on investments in both the IT and Energy sectors with a focus on China and Brazil. Most recently Charles headed the Brazil and China Investment Banking Groups at Standard Bank. Before that, as COO and Director of the Lithcon Group, Charles led Lithcon’s specialty chemicals division and its China-based manufacturing operations. Before Lithcon, Charles was an investment banker with Lehman Brothers and UBS Warburg in the software and telecom groups, where he led the execution of several public offerings and M&A transactions. Earlier in his career, Charles worked as a management consultant with Deloitte Consulting, specializing in telecommunications and network economics. Charles started his career as a petroleum refinery chemical and process engineer for Conoco. He holds a B.S. in Chemical Engineering from the University of Texas, an MBA from Columbia University, and is a CFA Charterholder. Charles is fluent in both Mandarin and Portuguese.
