Bio
The Satoshi Block Dojo is the eighth company that Craig Massey has founded. The Dojo is an incubator for tech startups exclusively using the BSV Blockchain and has ambitions to fund and nurture around 250 companies in the next five years from the London Dojo. Most startups spend around 40% of their time fundraising whereas the Dojo handles the first three tranches of funding up to a seed round of £1.5M through direct investment and introduction to their investor network.
The key differentiator of the Satoshi Block Dojo compared to any other incubator, is that they provide a much more hands-on approach during the 12-week training programme, handling many of the annoying but necessary tasks of starting a company like legal, tax, bookkeeping etc. Another key part of the service is that the Dojo will identify a real-world R&D corporate partner for each startup. This then enables them to focus on delivering the solution and receiving immediate feedback so that they can iterate and improve quickly. The ambition is to achieve a prototype or MVP (Minimal Viable Product) within 12 weeks and just before one of the main investor pitch events.
Part of the team is the ex-CEO of Techstars so they are following their expansion model by replicating the Dojo model in different new country each year, starting with Dubai in early 2022.
From eight startups, Craig has had five successful exits with four of those for £ multi-millions, primarily in the B2B, Tech, SaaS space.
