Bio
Doro Poetter joined the founding team of e.ventures in 1999 as an EA/Operations Manager and a liaison between the offices in the US and Germany. She spent over a decade supporting the company in various areas, most notably working closely with the CFO in Germany to establish the finance team in the US. Doro left e.ventures in 2008 to follow her entrepreneurial dream and successfully created her own cupcake company, sweetiecups. She rejoined e.ventures in 2012 and is currently the Head of Finance (US). With her historical knowledge and longevity within the firm, Doro plays an integral role cross-functionally across finance, compliance, HR, and operations.
Doro started her career at Bertelsmann Headquarters in Germany and holds a Masters in Business Administration (Diplomkauffrau) from Fachhochschule der Wirtschaft in Paderborn.
