Bio

Jackie Reses is currently the Head of the Square Capital team which is working to expand access to funding for small businesses, enabling them to grow and achieve their goals. Square Capital applies innovative machine learning models to inform underwriting decisions, manage risk and ultimately extend credit to qualified sellers. She leads Capital product, product marketing, engineering, design and the overall business team dedicated to creating innovative products for our sellers. Jackie leads the Board of Directors committee for Capital Compliance and Governance. Prior to joining Square, Jackie was the Chief Development Officer at Yahoo! where she managed a breadth of revenue generating businesses and corporate functions such as people, culture, search affiliate business, product partnerships and M&A. She lead the search affiliate business, a multi-billion product supporting Yahoo Search, M&A and Partnerships (Corporate and Business Development) and also worked to establish and manage Altaba Holdings (Ticker: AABA). She served as Chief Human Resources Officer for global Talent team which drove all hiring and talent development, organizational structuring/alignment and operations across Yahoo. She also served on the Board of Directors and audit committee of Alibaba Group, one of the leading internet businesses focused on consumer e-commerce, business to business marketplaces, and cloud computing.
