Bio
Nicolas joined the e.ventures team as an Investor in 2018, initially beginning his tenure in Berlin before moving to San Francisco.
At e.ventures, Nicolas focuses on investing in high-growth consumer internet and SaaS companies. He has been involved with the firm’s investments in Flowhub, Bitwarden, Carewell, and Codota, among others. He also works closely on the firm’s data analysis efforts; he has helped to develop our proprietary financial analytics tool Athena and supports our portfolio companies with running proprietary financial analysis/forecasts on a periodic basis.
Born in Germany, Nicolas grew up in South Africa and graduated from Varsity College in Cape Town with a Bachelor in Business Commerce (Majoring in Finance).
Competing on the professional surfing circuit as a teenager, Nicolas represented Germany at the 2013 ISA Junior World Championship in Nicaragua.
