Olivia Carpa

Bio

As the Senior Associate at KP Ventures, Olivia brings diverse experience in both early stage startup operations and healthcare investment advisory for institutional portfolios. Olivia started her career as an equity research analyst at Barclays Investment Bank, providing investment research and recommendations on the specialty pharmaceuticals sector. Additionally she generated strategic analysis on sector themes such as payer decision-making and pricing strategies, the upcoming R&D landscape, and changing U.S. healthcare regulations. After five years at Barclays, Olivia transitioned from public equity to working with seed stage healthtech companies at the Cedars-Sinai Accelerator Powered by Techstars. At the accelerator Olivia focused on scaling strategic use cases and building value proposition models for SaaS companies selling into health systems. Olivia holds a BSc Honors in Economics and Social Policy from the London School of Economics and is a CFA charterholder. She is also excited to be a One Young World Ambassador.
