Bio

Piers acquired his first bitcoin at 13 years old in exchange for virtual currency in a video game. After reaching 69th globally in Rainbow Six Siege (over 50 million players), building an RSPS with his brothers, being a first-generation virtual reality user, and growing up with crypto, he leverages his unique insight into the undercurrents of the web to cross the digital divide. He studied Computer Science and Philosophy at Newcastle University before starting Azar Capital—a hybrid crypto/venture fund. Piers has also led advisory roles with Saxon Advisors and 01 Capital—both are London-based digital asset consultancy firms. More recently, alongside some of the MetaCartel community leaders Piers started the world’s first cryptonative eSports DAO called MetaClan.
