Bio
James joined Trinity Ventures in 2010, with over five years of investing experience in consumer services, enterprise software and digital media companies. Prior to Trinity, James was a Vice President at Bessemer Venture Partners where he was instrumental in eight new investments in consumer internet services, security and digital media sectors along with a number of seed investments. Before Bessemer, James was a consultant with the Boston Consulting Group where he developed marketing strategies for entertainment and IT companies. Earlier, he built web applications for start ups as a Principal at Zefer and developed IT systems for Fortune 500 companies as a software developer at Andersen Consulting (now Accenture). While at Bessemer, James was a board member at CrowdFlower and Open Candy and a board observer at LifeLock, ReputationDefender, Sonic Mule and BillShrink.Career
