Bio

Fellow of the Institute for Turnaround and a Corporate Financier in the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales. Member of the British Venture Capital Hall of Fame. Between 1997 and September 2009, was the Managing Partner and founder of Alchemy Partners. Previously at CVC, from 1985 to 1994, was the Managing Partner and founder of Schroder Ventures, where he focused on LBOs and venture capital. Between 1994 and 1997, was the Director in charge of LBOs at Apax Partners. Has been involved in numerous turnaround deals since 1980. Non-executive chairman at FinnCap, the UK based specialist growth company adviser and broker. Graduate in Chemistry. Chartered Accountant.
